Hi, my name is Dirkjan Bussink and I’m the founder of CriticalCodes, a development company specialized in performance and security. Before I started my own company, I worked for Nedap. There I worked on a wide range of topics, from web development to building an embedded Linux environment.
I’ve also been an active open source contributor for many years, having contributed in the past to for example Ruby, Rails and DataMapper. These days EngineYard is sponsoring my company to work on Rubinius to make it a great platform to run Ruby applications on.
While I’ve mostly worked with Ruby, I also have experience with all kinds of other technologies such as Perl, PHP, Java, C, C++ and of course HTML/Javascript/CSS.
